Au pair responsibilities

The au pair will work no more than 5 days and a half per week and no more than 10 hours per day. Although we are aware that the timetables might change a bit during the year, we highly recommend having a more or less established timetable at the beginning of her year. The au pair’s main responsibilities will be focused on childcare and housework related to it. Some of these duties might be:

  • Walking the kids, dress them up, bath them and play with them.

  • Preparing the kid?s lunches, tidy up their rooms and playrooms, making their beds and do their laundry.

  • Driving the children (if necessary) to school or extracurricular activities.

  • Taking care and watching the children while they are sleeping if the parents are not home.

  • Sharing your culture and language with the family through games, storytelling, songs, activities, etc.
